The Collection

Nothing in this wing was acquired. The Institute has no acquisition records, no purchase ledger and no donors. The collection accumulated. It continues to accumulate at a rate of roughly four items a year, which the Archivist catalogues and does not comment on.

CONSERVATION NOTICE
The Conservator has been on leave since 1974. In the absence of a conservator, the collection has been conserving itself. Several items are in better condition than when they arrived. Two are in better condition than when they were made.
